Very Good book.. Lots of Solved Illustrations and Contains all type of questions at last of each chapter.. Nd Main thing is EVERY THING IS SOLVED.. SOo Thats a Plus point of this book.

Must Have little knowledge for Algebra before..
Recommended for IDEAL IIT Preparation.

Must have will to give time.. If u do this.. then simply do this.. forget any other book..

But if u are very new to Algebra then i recommend Skills in Mathematics ( ARIHANT PUBLICATIONS ) ALGEBRA 1 nd 2

I have personally gone through the entire book and i can certify to all of you that this book is the perfect package for a student aspiring to be a part of the prestigious IIT's. Not only this book but even the other books are really good. Though there are a few mistakes in the book, the advantages that this book has, completely eclipses its drawbacks. Going through the wide collection of solved examples provides us the application skills required by a student.

This book lets you understand each and every concept in a detailed manner...It starts almost form a zero level and gradually to the difficult level...Lots of solved examples are included and moreover. ..solutions to all the exercise is also provided....It is a complete package....GO FOR IT WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT !!!!

Everything in this book is great. There are many questions in every chapter especially at the end of chapter and each and every question is solved.
Theory is at its best and questions are of quiest good level.

The book is good for entrance examinations, error level in the book is low. The 3D Geometry part of this book is written with vectors and also without vectors. So this will be good for everyone. Overall performance is good.

The questions are challenging and the solutions provide good tools needed during an examination. The theory part is good for all chapters except determinants and matrices chapter. Some stuff is missing in those chapters but otherwise a must buy for other algebra chapters
