I have using McAfee since the time i ever owned a computer. So when i tell you this i mean it ! McAfee is the best and none other.

Coming to the software, the registration was a bit hard ,as i need the online assistant to solve my registration problems....Having the old McAffe software so removing from online account was a bit problematic....Otherwise all fine.

The software really blocked each any every unauthorized activity in your computer(Excellent Firewall And Strict Protection).

The Site Advisor is just cherry of the cake and not forgot the real-time scanning(valuable against the odds)

I bought Mcafee total security 2012. This is a very good AV no doubt, but installation is little bit difficult
it reqiure high speed internet connection. so its difficut to for them who dont have this type of connection.
here is the solution for them ,buy a idea sim recharge of 7 s. in which u get 30 min. 3g speed .
by this u are able to install it with in 20 min.

Don't go with a above review because McAfee is the best protection ever. I'm using it for last many years there is no problem with this software. I'm using it my Dell PC & my Laptop. it works well.just you need to know how to use it and how to activate it you wouldn't find any problem.

I spoke to Customer care (India: 1800-3000-2454) , they took my PC in control (via Broadband modem)by installing a software, then entire installation is done by them.

Installation includes downloading software (approx 128 MB), installing and registering. Installation process took 2.5 hours.

It is installed successfully and CC is very helpful.

I regret switching over from Norton 360 this piece of trash.Ever since installing it, I cannot connect to the internet on Wi-Fi. The internet is filled with such complaints about McAfee Total Security. The last update screwed up something very badly and McAfee has been unable to fix it. Only work around is that I have connect to the internet using cable as it does not allow my laptop to connect to the internet on Wi-Fi.
My advice stay miles away from any Mcafee s/w!!!!
