Contains 20 chapters of physical geography.
Only demerit references are to North American Continent.
But Can be studied on a general basis as well and with much ease and in much detail.

Best book available on physical geography
In the absence of Strahler and strahler, this book certainly is the best available book on physical geography. It provides lucid explanation and along with coloured illustrations to understand the processes, mechanisms etc.
For UPSC aspirants: Though it doesn't cover the part I of paper 1 as thorough as Savinder singh's book, but still I would suggest that this book must be read. It gives much better explanation and we can easily find several new concepts which are not given in Savinder sing...

Very good
This book is very good for understanding physical geography although examples in this book are US-centric geography-wise. The text is easy to understand which is suitably substantiated by all-colour nice and clear figures and illustrations. Recommended.

A collector`s item
A treat for Geography readers. A collector`s item. Even from UPSC point of view its excellent. However its a book on physical world geography and not Physical Indian geography. Keep that in mind.
