Mechanical Engineering For GATE with its comprehensive topic coverage and solved examples, practice papers and points to remember, makes for an ideal study material for mechanical engineering students seriously preparing for the GATE exam.
Summary Of The Book
Mechanical Engineering For GATE explains complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to students aspiring to get through the GATE test.
The four sections in the updated and revised edition of the guidebook that comprehensively cover various concepts in mechanical engineering make the book a wholesome study material for students preparing for the GATE exam. While the first two sections in the book are entirely devoted to the exhaustive explanation of engineering concepts such as material strength, machine design, thermodynamics and machine tool operations, the latter two sections deal deeply with engineering mathematics.
The book provides GATE question papers from the previous years with correct and complete solutions. Such practice question papers give students good insights into what they can expect from the competitive test and how they should prepare themselves for the time-bound exam. Some other salient features of Mechanical Engineering For GATE are the examples and the points to remember that put the spotlight on which aspects of each chapter students must focus more on. The book has 100 to 200 multiple choice questions for each chapter.
Mechanical Engineering For GATE is a must-have for mechanical engineering students looking to clear concepts and practice model GATE papers prior to giving the actual exam.
