The fabric is a thin cheap satin which wouldn't be so bad in itself except that there's already places on this shirt where there the threads have been snagged by tugging on sharp things and this would need to be hand washed with delicates for sure.
Unlike my other better satin shirt which doesn't crease this one is quite heavily wrinkled out of the pack which is another negative as I thought this wouldn't need to be ironed.
