In our opinion, this two-way period style light switch is the closest you will get to the original Bakelite one. It is rated at 6 amps and is a "2 way" which means that it suits 2 way as well as 1 way. (2 way switching is where 2 switches operate the light(s) and 1 way has just the one switch operating the light(s). In addition, this authentic looking switch has a nice feel to the switching action. The wiring terminals are made from brass and the contacts are made from Phosphor Bronze. You do normally have to use a "pattress" for this type of switch (a wooden mounting plinth).
