Well I read a lot of reviews before buying this phone. A lot of negative reviews about the phone heating up, et al! Not all of that is true! I have written a few general points about the phone below:

1. Battery, at best, is average, given its 3000+ mAh battery. Works 12-14 hours on full charge with moderate usage (1/2-1 Hour of Calling, Messaging, 3G Data always on, 1 hours of internet surfing/FB/Other Apps, 1 hour of light games). This is normal day to day usage between 8AM-10PM
2. Heating ...

Its a good phone and is specially good value for money in this price range. I gave this as a gift to my wife and she is really happy with the phone.

2. I saw lot of comments on flipkart abt the heating issue on Mi4... Trust me ..It is there..
use it for an hour and u can feel the heatness..Keep it charging for 20mnts and u can feel the hotty M4 waiting to give u a warm kiss in your ear..

Was not a bad phone after 2 years of use..

Approximately 1 week after using this phone, I've come to the conclusions :

a) Touch screen is way more sensitive than anything I've ever used (a portfolio which includes long line of apple products). It is dangerous because the easily unlocks itself while being in pocket.

b) Phone heats but it is nothing to worry about considering the fact that my last phone was iPhone 5s which used to heat a lot more than this phone.

c) Edges and corners are stronger than that of iPhone 5s but phone is v...

Amazing product feature. Superb Display. Strongly recommended if you are planning to buy an android phone. Better than any samsung in the same category..

It is a great product smooth in use and pretty quick, a little overpriced and heats up very fast
even when it is being charged in undisturbed condition but both front and rear cameras are good and battery life is amazing. Another disadvantage is that it does not have a micro SD card slot .
It has 3 GB RAM but MIUI takes up more than 1.3 GB of RAM .
Overall it is a good product.

Though the mobile is good, however doesn't justify the cost. Cons are single SIM, doesnt support 4G, no handsfree and around 20K (at the time when I purchased). Pros are good resolution, excellent camera, looks.

I have been using MI PAD for a month now, after which I decided to go for Mi 4 (16 GB). The phone has delivered more then I expected out of it. It's handy and bold.
