There are plenty of problems there in mmx funbook but the main problem is its supports only photon dongle am living in small town there is no proper connection available and i have tried to connect huawei dongle and vodafone data card but its not worked ..
now the tablet is totally useless, now its being used like toy, children are using it for playing games only.. bsnl penta is better option because its supports all data cards..
bottom line IS,,
guys don't buy this maximum no of user hates...

HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! device....utter waste of money...dont ever buy it...the battery doesn't stand at all,the device automatically shuts down even when there is 50% battery,touch sensitivity is very bad...if u buy this device its like throwing 6500 in the dustbin...

I bought one from a local store inmy area and later on thought to measure the display size for micromax funbook p300 which is not 7 inches at all.... not even in width or diagonally.. you can check urself.

THE DISPLAY SCREEN SIZE IS ONLY 6" WIDE for the one I got...

and the STORAGE IS NOT 4 GB , IT SEEMS TO BE ONLY 2.5 GB THAT YOU CAN USE.

I THINK MICROMAX IS A BIG LIAR.....

I had purchased a funbook. Within a month its battery life decreased from 5 hours to just 1 hour. I recommend not to buy it. I think that all the micromax products are useless and cheap. Funbook do not have a usb port but a cheap usb cable and the hdmi port is also not the size of standard hdmi cable. PLEASE DO NOT BUY

Micromax Funbook is good !!!!!!!!!!! I have been experiencing issue with automatic shutdown, and Auto rotation. 1:- battery was showing almost 35 % !!!!!!!! but suddenly it used to get shutdown So visited customer care and got it fixed in 3 days. They udpated ICS 4.0.3 and issue seems to be resolved. 2:- For auto rotation Funbook was replaced in a day after buying it as it was a manufacturing defect. Please check all the functions before buying it. Rest it is O.k. Thats why giving 3 stars.

when brought this funbook this was good.but today it is creating problems! that is it shut downs automatically at battery level 65-70%!they it will be made good by keeping funbook for 8 hrs charging for first day and 2 hrs per day for a week. hope it will get well soon

I bought this tablet this month only and the following things I have noticed:
Pros:
Stylish look.
Touch is very much fast.
Graphics is very good.
processor is very much fast.
Supports all types of videos.
Android 4.0.3 is very much good.
Google app store is supported.
Cons:
It becomes heated on prolonged using.
The dongle provided for free is not at all free. You have to pay more Rs. 500 for it.
Viewing angles is not so much good.
Camera should have been of at least 0.5 mega pixel.

I bought funbook around 3 months back from this site...for 2 months it was working fine, but now the audio and video function has stopped working...whenever i play a song i cannot hear the sound but when i lock the tablet then the sound is heard...no sound while playing games also...whenever i play a video that time also no screen n sound, just blank screen...this is verrry serious problem...and while charging the tablet the touch is not working properly, i touch one thing another keys gets p...

I ordered this for my friend who was at first elated at the service give by flipkart, but the trouble started when he wanted internet connectivity. I does not connect to any other dongle except tata incdicom. That too, you get the indicom dongle in selected cities and in some cities tata indicom outlets flatly refuse to offer dongle in the scheme.

So friends if you want to buy this buy only if you have an iondicaom dongle or change your choice as my friend was forced to sell this in open mar...
