I m using this phone since last around 2 years & its working fine like other phones. most of the review shows that its trackball is creating problem, but since starting, i don't have any problem.

I wd recommend this phone for the person, who is not having more money & wants to have a good phone.

i,m happy with this phone..i buy it on june 2010 and using it till today without facing any problem..yes their some times problem with the trackball but its managable..i,m happy with the product..thank you flipcart to have some good product into ur shop..

i bought it 1 week ago.
camera is pretty good.
track ball is fun.
music quality is gr8.
though the product was discontinued on ur site yet u guys helped me a lot to choose a decent phone
micromax q5fb--a perfect choice

I am not sure whether people still think of buying this phone - as the model is quite old now. Nevertheless, for those who still consider buying it, the review might be useful.
I had heard a lot about Micromax products being "value for money", "Decent phone" etc. So I thought - why not buy this phone?
I bought it in May 2011 from Flipkart, the service of which was simply amazing as usual. Problems started after I started using the phone. The problems are as noted below.
1. Function as a phone...

Suggest u not 2 buy. Trackball is worse and it hangs many time. And it has very low battery life .
Even headphones are not of good quality. I got it replaced 3 times (Thanx 4 the relacement).
4 me Plus point : It has QWERTY keypad, and a wide screen.
