bought it 2 months ago,
worked excellent even on glass or whatever the surface is,,
but now, not working says 'the usb inserted is malfuntioned'.
microsoft replaced my product another and two months of use same happend,
the reciever is not working more than 2 months

only bad thing is the receiver is so long that it may get damaged for rough uses,,
i don't recommend this product,

The keyboard and mouse are awesome, It gives comfortable working with the keyboard and mouse. But the function keys are too small and its not grouped so its difficult to stike the key as a flow. The other drawbacks are the aditional features provided in the keyboard like zoom in , zoom out , audio controls and numbers from 1 to 5 in special keys are not functioning.
The home key and media control are working only with windows media player.
The people who expects only the keyboard functionalit...

keyboard gives excellent typing feedback with its standard keyboard layout
mouse is working well with almost any surface , im using it over glass surface (over my table not see-through ) , i saw lot lot of lot of reviews about fragile mouse wheel, actually its not a problem nobody noticed it has horizontal scrolling pressing it side wise, .
only problem i noticed mouse click feels noisy .
and flipkart delivery is excellent.got the product in two days

I bought this one from nehru place for a peanut price with valid warranty.
If you are looking for wireless keyboard along with multipurpose buttons, this is the one.

awesome design for both keyboard and mouse ... texture and usage is so smooth ... feels good whiel operating.

pro:
The mouse has impressive battery life. I hardly ever turned it off in the course of last 5-6 months. Still running on the duracell that came with the product. the keys are responsive. the overall build quality is good

con:
the esc f1 - f12 keys are inconveniently small.

Quite good product but quality from Microsoft is crap....Looks like made in china and labelled as MS.

2nd bad experince on Microsoft product.

Let's see if Flipkart can help.

The keyboard is pretty good, but the mouse is totally waste by its size,weight and the uncomfortable center scroll.To click on the center scroll,it takes at least one month practice :(.
The scroll is very smooth that's why just slip the target when we click.
And feels hand pain while using this mouse.

I have purchased Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000 before few months With excellent service from Flipkart. I found a problem with mouse within two months, It was not working. So i sent mouse and tranceiver to Microsoft service center. Its more than a month passed but still there is no any solution came nor any reply from Microsoft Service Center.
I had to suffer a lot and at last i had to further purchased a brand new Mouse-key board set of other brand.
Ever Worst service from Microsoft..

The mouse is okay but the keyboard is erratic beyond use. Simply stops responding sometimes, then after a long time will come back with a flood of older keystrokes.

Also installs unnecessary crapware Intellipoint. One would think MS would know what they were doing with their drivers on their own OS, but no! What's more irritating they try to install everytime you plug the receiver in. No more MS keyboards for me. Back to Logitech!

Last but not least the size of the receiver is just unpardo...

worth the Price, product from Microsoft...Both the mouse & Keyboard run with batteries. Descent battery Lasting. Flipkart delivery was apt like always......................
