This is one of the best phone in this price range. Further, it also does not look cheap at all. The black one has a matte finish at back which is a plus for me. However, I've previously used Lumia 820 and therefore, I had some high expectations with respect to screen resolution etc. You may find the screen resolution of 535 of bit lower quality; though it is decent at this price range...

Bug fix for Lumia 535
I am big fan of Nokia windows phone and using other lumia models for more than a year now. This is true that Lumia 535 has a touch issue. I felt it when I used this mobile for 5 minutes in Nokia center. But Now Microsoft has come up with a fix, which will be available after 27 Dec 2014 to update. Soon I am going to buy this mobile too. I am giving 5 star because all features are best at this price, much better than android mobiles, with great hardware.
