Microsoft continues to ship Economy Phones with Quality. I waited for a month ore more before I bought this phone for my wife, and I can say that I am happy (coz she is happy). Quite frankly was waiting for Lumia 650 to come into India Market. But when I saw the price at which 650 was placed (~15k), I felt that 550 was much more "Value for Money"!

There are so many negative reviews out there which I felt are a bit negatively prejudiced about Lumia / Windows Phone, so Let me list out the Pro'...

believe me guys its a osum phone,,,,, i ws a apple user nd this phn is better than iphone 5c( acc. to price nd quality),,, i love my lumia 550

charger was not working.phone was ok.although seemed that a sticker was missing inside the phone when i removed the back cover to put the battery in. then i requested for replacement of the product. this time also the phone was ok but the usb cable( of charger ) was of some other brand(asus).now the thing to worry about is the box must have been opened earlier.

I MUST SAY GREAT PRODUCT. NO ONE COMPARED FROM MICROSOFT. AT TODAY MICROSOFT IS WINNER FROM ANY HIGHER ANDROID. NO LAG, NO HANG, PERFORMANCE IS GREAT AND ROCKING.

This is the best low budget Windows 10 mobile you can get. I was happy to receive original package.

Microsoft Lumia 550 is flavoured with winten (Windows 10). 45% of Battery was left though the mobile was used for movie watching about1.5hrs, internet via wifi about 30min, whats app chatting about 20 min, ideal about 2 hrs and setting up the mobile for about 20 min.
Display was eye pleasing and more than great, Touch sensitivity was amazing and winten response was blink quick. I played the inbuilt games and found great but no comments on premium games and gaming is not my application. I won...

I'm using Lumia 550 from June 2016, and it is in same condition till now,
Good back camera & an average front camera,
User Interface is awesome,
Battery backup is average,
Processor is little bit slow,
No heating issue like other smartphones,
Windows 10 features are just awesome,

Windows 10 looks far better than windows 8 & 8.1 but its little bit slower than windows 8.

I'm looking for a phone like HTC 8X. Medium display size that comfortable for hand, single sim, good front and back camera, 1gb ram, Windows OS, SD slot, 4g connection, below 10k/-. So i buy this without wait for any reviews. But I did a wrong turn. This one has Heating issue, Software updating issue, battery backup issue, poor camera, etc.. Not a good idea to buy a windows 10 phone now.. Still they (Microsoft) need to work lot..

1-display is good and touch response is great.
2-battery backup is enough to run all the day with moderate usage.
3-camera is good at daytime and just fine at night time.front camera is ok as it is only 2mp.
4-finally ,i recommend this budget mobile @7000 to those windows os lovers.
