Very expensive..

Open source office packs like LibreOffice or OpenOffice has got all the functionality as in Microsoft Office. Only for the look and fill, paying this much of amount is not logical. If the price will be within 5k-7k (including all features like Professional version), then I will think about it. For now I will prefer open source packs. I am ratting it 2 only for the cost...

26k for 2 PCs? You've got to be joking!

Here's what I think of it. Tosh!

OK here's my predicament. I'm a small business owner in the business of developing content. I have 6 writers working out of a small office.

I need Outlook, and I need Word, and Excel and Powerpoint and the whole jazz. But here's the fun part. My profit margins are so thin, I can't afford to buy licensed software - not for all my PCs!

the price is too high ..just try an open source alternative like openoffice etc..or try office 2007 edition as their no much difference ...or highly requirment of upgrading or buying the office 2010
office 2007 covers all the basic needs of the main requirement of the office tools

Ridiculous price

It is beyond ridiculous at this price. Try free alternatives like libreoffice, kingsoft. There are costly video playing softwares too but we use vlc. We dont require proprietary softwares for anything almost.
