This book is a very good book for SQL Server beginners and also professionals find it useful for filling in the gaps of information they did not knew. Overall: A good read

The book is good for beginners as well as for those already working with SQL Server.
The author has explained several topics on which information is hard to find on the internet.

There is however some scope of improvement in the language of the author which at times makes few topics confusing to understand.

Overall, a nice book to keep.

Most of the working professionals generally refer MSDN and other online resource to learn more about T-SQL. rather than wandering on different web sites if you want basics of T-SQL in one package than this is a must book to read. Apart from that, there are several things that you won't find on internet easily.
