In my computer i had factory installed windows Vista OS and it sucked so much that i felt of migrating to Apple. But,then Win 8 came,though the reviews were bad to nasty,i took the plunge and migrated from Vista to 8 at low price. And for the first time i felt that Microsoft has a comparable product.

This Windows 8,is my 2nd purchase for my Sony Vaio as i was not very happy with Win 7,though whatever praises they put on Win 7.

It uploaded fast and my laptop has got a fresh breath of life.

First to start, I never wanted to purchase a windows 8. But, my family don't know how to use other OS. So, I tried to put win 8.
Win 8 doesn't provide much experience in my touch less laptop.
Win 8 feels okay for me and one thing to praise about it was, it consumes less memory than win 7.
Other than that if you like to keep your screen with lot of tiles go for it.
But closing the app is one more issue. You need to go to the task manager to close the metro apps.

I ordered this product and cancelled since this is an upgrade version from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro. This works only if original Windows 7 is installed on a machine.
