Wow, best windows product !!
Product delivered within 3 days.
Win 8 dvd box was sealed pack & another extra cover sealed by flipkart. really impressed.
Win 8 installed on my hp laptop easily. nothing extra efforts i had to done with it.
Its working very very smoothly on my laptop.
I found it as very very comfortable windows os.
Just you need to install MS Office by your own end.
I like windows 8 too much as i m writing this review after 7 days continuous use.

Fastest OS I have ever used PERIOD
I am using Windows 8 on my new Lenovo PC. Windows 8 is blazing fast. I mean really fast. It boots faster than my Android. No, really it does! My task manager is showing last BIOS time of 4.7 seconds. Every feature is fast and responsive. UI is butter smooth and its giving me zero lags. It has built in anti-malware system so it saves a few hundred rupees on Antivirus app too. I say Upgrade if it is in your budget
People should have bought it when Win 8 cost Rs. 2000 to upgrade. its new operating system with some major enhancement. Yes removal of Start menu was bad move. But there are good free software that get it back. Like "classicshell" software and its open source.

Do NOT upgrade
We have a certain attraction for all things shiny and new, and I admit I had the same attraction for Windows 8. I believed it's a beautiful OS, and that I would love using it.....until I actually used it.
Although I still find the look of Windows 8 quite beautiful, USING it is seriously a pain in the you-know-where!

Windows 8 is amazing! Just make sure you make use of it fully!
You dont need to go right click to search in windows 8. Just type what you want and it will appear.
Plus you can easily install Linux or any other OS. Secure boot is not a feature of Windows 8. UEFI, secure boot etc are new features in BIOS. There are multiple links on how to install your favourite Linux on systems with such BIOS.

Not exactly required but essentially a nice OS, especially with the 8.1 update applied. A bit buggy but is a delight to use after the 8.1 installation. Nice refreshing touches...

8000 bucks is ridiculous
I bought this product from microsoft website when it was just 2000 to upgrade my old windows XP. Finding the drivers was a major operation some of which still have a problem. So i only do selective updation of software. But that said it has given new life to my 2006 vintage laptop and within a week I was totally loving it. The deficiency of the start button was forgotten for more interesting options. We needed this change. For howmany years we have been using the PC in the same mundane manner...

AWESOME
I have been using the OS about a year now. The main feature of this OS is that it is very fast and allows you to copy from other PCs a lot faster via LAN connection. I would recommend it to everyone. Although it would be better if you have a touch screen monitor ... :)
