A:Yes, the cable provided with the package contains a usb3.0 Type A cable on one side & the other side is Kinect compatible plug. Also Kinect only works with the USB Port on the back of XBOX.

A:I had been getting confounding responses on this which is why I went for 1S... some sources say 1X does not support kinect. But you may want to give it a try... if does not work, get refund
