Cooking Instructions
Direction:- Step 1: Add 1 measure mix to 1/2 measure sour curd & Set aside for 5 minutes. Fermented Curd is a must, otherwise Idlies will turn yellow. Keep the curd for 1 hour at room temperature if it is chilled. Step 2: Add 1 more measure of sour curd; Mix well & Set Aside for 5 minutes. Suggestion: You can keep grated Carrot or Tomato slice in the Idly plates before pouring the batter. Step 3: Steam the batter in an Idli Cooker/ vessel for 10-12 minutes on medium-high flame. Serve Hot. If pressure cooker is used for steaming Idly, do not use whistle.
