About Sarvat Rahman

Dr. Sarvat Rahman graduated from the Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. After working in several hospitals in India, she got into the area of Fundamental Medical Research (Immunology) in France. Taking over the love of letters and of Urdu and Persian poetry from her scholarly mother, Dr. Rahman is living with her family in Dehradun after retirement.

Bad quality

The book recieved was kinda old. Also, the print in Urdu was illegible. Not worth it.

Hard to understand the translation

The book contains four different representation for each of the gazals. Hindi, Urdu, phonetic Hindi and translated English. However, in order make the poetic justification, the English translation has become less understandable. Please, read all the four versions of the first gazal to ascertain this fact.
