BMC - Mo Khata is the product of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation made in partnership with the community-based institutions viz Mission Shakti / Transgender Groups. The revenue generated out of this endeavour flows back to the community in the form of wages, incentives, honorarium for the Swachha Sathis, Swachha Supervisors, Swachha Karmis, who are the members of the Missionshakti Groups / Transgender Groups / Rag Pickers working in Micro Composting Centers / Material Recovery Facilities.
