A classic book by a prolific writer. The book revolves around the story of killing a monster (whale) named moby dick. Book is punctuated with comic situations which makes you laugh aloud even if you are alone in the room. The book also acquaints you with marine terminology, hardship faced by mariners etc. The narrative is somewhat difficult as it is replete with biblical references. So one should have a basic knowledge of Bible before reading this. On the whole , a great book.

It's a classic but not for beginners, if u are really an English literature enthusiast and have good enough reading done earlier then only u should go for this books. The English is different from our normal English, need to keep a dictionary sideby.
