It's a very good book and all of the topics discussed in it are very clearly explained but the book missed a few topics like sag and tension analysis and corona discharge analysis in transmission lines. Other than that this book works like a charm.......

This is a good starting book, especially for topics like power flow, short circuit, but not for stability which is not clearly explained. The appendices are great and very informative, a pleasant departure from other well known text books on power system analysis. I got this book just 2 days from the date of order: Awesome delivery from Flipkart.

This book is just the best for GATE preparation in power systems. C L Wadhwa is okay but I felt MPSA by Nagrath and Kothari better and simple to understand.
Overall 10/10 for Flipkart delivery and packaging by Flipkart is just awesome. :)

No book can be perfect,but this book is essential or Power systems.Some topics are written very well like faults,some are not that well.This book supplements another book Power System Engineering by the same authors.Combining these two for your preparation is a good idea
