Amateurish
The writing is simple. Story line is good. But couple of things which I did not like about the book.
1. The writer tries hard to make it acceptable to non-Indian audience. Like for every Hindi dialogue used in the book she has given an immediate English translation. It is a bit annoying. Come on, have you ever seen foreign authors providing an English tranlation along with the Spanish/Italian/French words or sentences they use?
2. The book is a bit amaeturish for a seasoned M&B reader like me.

I must agree that the writing style is very exquisite. However, given the content of the novel, all I can say that this is nothing but an erotica which has been cleverly crafted into a love story. Truly pathetic.
