The removable filter is crafted out of stainless steel and is held in a die-cast aluminum folder.

Brewing Features

The unique Strong/Mild/Light strength control setting on the Morphy Richards Rico coffee maker allows you to get your cuppa just right. It is recommended that you use coffee powder made with 100 percent Arabica beans to get that perfect cup. Though expensive, coffee powders with 100 percent Arabica give you that perfect, full-bodied taste and aroma.

This Espresso machine is fitted with a preset thermostat that ensures that the water drips onto the coffee powder at an optimum temperature to extract maximum flavor from the beans. The milk frother attachment in the Morphy Richards Cafe Rico espresso maker uses a unique whirling technique so you can top off your cappuccino or hot chocolate with a rich, firm froth.

There is a Thermostat hotplate on the right edge of the Cafe Rico espresso maker to heat up the milk, saving you the hassle of boiling it separately. Additionally, the hot plate can also be used to keep the decoction warm for an extended period of time.

Safety and Convenience

The Morphy Richards Cafe Rico espresso machine comes with a Fail safe cut-off feature. The coffee maker switches itself off when it detects that the water level has dropped to zero. There are Twin LED indicators for the Main Power and the Hotplate, each of them can be operated independently.

The Milk frother, Stainless Filter and the Filter holder in the coffee maker can be dissembled for easy cleaning. The glass carafe and its outer lid are heat resistant and can be safely handled even during the brewing process.
