I think this charger was released for models of Moto, older than G5s Plus. But, the performance is as good as the in box charger, with my G5s Plus.

Good quality product
I ordered this product on Saturday and received on Tuesday, three days before schedule. Thanks flipkart for prompt delivery that to in a small town of Western India. The product came nicely packed in a Motorola box having a holographic seal. Performance wise it worked well for my Moto G5 plus & Moto Gen 1. Used it for one year without any problem. Quick charging always. Finally got damaged due to short circuit as it became wet in rain. go for it.
