As a first novel, Moving On quite makes the cut. A good love story, potential for conflict and separation, haunting pasts. But a novel is so much more than two individuals and an overanalysis of their lives. I bought this book seeing rave reviews on flipkart. The novel kind of dissappointed me. Generally I read for fun but this book made me slightly uncomfortable. Its serious story, & probably a bit too feministic for my taste. I'd rather prefer some humor in already complex life. Plot n characters are predictable & I felt like I am going through a 1980s Hindi film. Though I'd give the author credit for a tight n pacy story.
