Traditional /Antique method to grind/rubbing sandalwood and turmeric sticks.

BEFORE USING THE FIRST TIME: 1. Wash the iteams in water without detergent or soap. Let mortar and pestle air dry. 2. Grind a small handful of white rice. Discard the rice and then repeat this step until the rice grinds white. It can take mulitpletries to get the rice to grind white. 3. Next, add 4 cloves of garlic , then mash it together with the rice. 4. Add 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon papper to the garlic. Grind it all together and then discard. 5. Wash the mortar and pestle again in water with no soap and let them both air dry.
