The best mid tier 970 available.

The box contents are somewhat limited but then again i wasn't expecting for much.It was decently packed with a nice thick foam inside the box to keep it from getting damaged.Flipkart delivered it within a day so kudos for that.

Now to the card itself,it's the best value for money available in the market right now.The TDP is just 145w which is astonishing considering the performance it outputs. It destroys every modern triple A game at 1080p! Even games notorious for being buggy and unoptimiz...

Awesome card ,,BUT Heat problem

its a nice card ......All games are maxed out......But make sure YOU have enough external cooling system otherwise this card temperature goes up to 75 degree c.

But if you have better external cooling like external fans...open up both sides of cabinet while extreme gaming ..then the temperature will be under control lets say 60-65 degree c ...

and most importantly its been a month now NO COIL WHINE till now ......
i m running this card with 600 watt cooler master thunder Psu .........and no...

Its a Monster

don't have an 8-pin socket free in my system, so my choice of 970s was limited to those which require 2x 6-pin sockets. Of the ones I looked at which fitted that requirement, the MSI had the best reputation for quiet operation, so that's mainly why I chose it.

I'll tell you the 'down-side' right away: this is a very long card (11.5 inches I think) which may be a limiting factor for some systems.

As for the up-sides: very easy install, very low noise, excellent temperature regulation, and th...

Monster of a card

First of all,let me start by saying that I did not buy this card from Flipkart.I bought it near my home. This card is a beast.Runs everything I throw at it at constant 60 FPS at 1080p.Even games that are notorious for having bad optimization and being extremely buggy and glitchy(guess who they are ?? :D) are running buttery smooth on ultra with full anti-aliasing with no drops below 58 frames. Now about the packing of the card itself. It is packed with a sponge-like material to keep it from bei...

Brilliant!!

Hands down the best mid range card. Frankly it's a bit overpriced in India; but if you are looking for stutter free gaming for next 2 years this is the card. Be mindful of two things:
1. It's a big card. Quite big. So make sure to have enough space in your cabinet.
2. Power supply can be an issue as was with me. Go for 500W or better higher.
It's been a while since I've upgraded my GPU. My previous Radeon HD6640 has served me brilliantly for last 4 years and though I was still able to play re...

Overpriced

Ugly pricing... Wait for 1050 it performs better than 970 as a newer gen card also the price will be around 9k - 10k (130 usd)
