This is clearly the best organic Chemistry book for an in-depth knowledge at 'mechanisms' level required at 10+2 level and for all engineering entrances.I am myself a FIITJEE student and each and every reaction taught there has been included here. he is actually my teacher. This is a very concise book with all NECESSARY reactions needed in the industry in a large scale or in the +2level. It has all deatiled mechanism and the latest version is muchbetter with no mistakes till today. i really thank my teacher for publishing this wonderful and good book

I had gone through this book.the concepts are really gud..& the language used.practice problems are nice..worth buying it..just loved it.For a beginner its pretty much helpful and useful.As the name suggest,the reaction mechanism and specially the beginning chapters are so gud to read..

A person cant spend this much huge time studying 100s of mechanism in this book.
Not at all organised in a way to help schedule students...

very knowledgeable book regarding organic mechanisms,,keeping in the mind the syllabus of entrance exams,this book is useless if you want to buy it for preparation of entrance exam as 80% of the book is not included in the syllabus,,and about 20% i am sure this book will be very helpful in clearing the concepts regarding mechanisms..

In short,,it is not a must have book,,but a good book to have who wants to study chemistry in depth.
