In November 2008, a group of terrorists engineered a horrific attack in Mumbai, causing the death of Indian and foreign civilians. The brutality of the attack, in which women, children and senior citizens were murdered, shocked the entire world who bore witness to the fifty-nine hour siege on television. The masterminds behind the attack referred to it as jihad, a necessary war.
