A cracker of a read....

I bought this book from Flipkart, only because it offered a good discount and made up the amount to save me the delivery charges ; and it turned out to be a real bargain !!!
Who has heard of Piyush Jha ? My mind read it at first as - Prakash Jha, the eminent film-maker !!

When the book arrived and I looked at the cover; there was a blurb on the cover by Ekta Kapoor of the saas-bahu fame, that again brought the feeling of dismay. It was only when I finished reading the book I realized how wro...

One of the best

All three stories are better than the other. Keeps you engaged right till the end, one of the very few I read from start to finish.
Piyush Jha deserves an ovation for creating a gem.

Mumbaistan just like fast moving local trains of Mumbai!

Piyush Jha's story telling and descriptive style of the more talked about and the most curios places of Mumbai is just superb. In fact, last Saturday instead of reading this book in my drawing room, library or any coffee shop.. i decided to read in the fast moving empty local trains of Mumbai in the off peak hours, the experience was superb.. like the fast moving local train, the fast pace Mumbaistan was also in its top gears.. Enjoyed it very much.. Strongly recommended!

For the true lover...

Must Read for Fiction Addicts !!!!

Mumbaistan is a refreshing change from "imported" spy stories and thrillers..
I could identify with the streets and settings and could identify with the down to earth, real life like characters.
"un-put-down-able"....

Piyush bhai, yeh to trailer tha, abhi picture baki hai!!! Eagerly waiting for the next big one..

A 3 in 1 potboiler

A breakthrough novel in Indian crime fiction. I believe if you like crime then there is no doubt you are going to take a liking to Piyush Jha's writing style that plays on thrill and suspense at the appropriate time.
Filled with the right kind of masala, all the three novellas come together to form a pot-boiler of a book that would appeal to any reader who connects with high quality commercial fiction.
