a vivid anthology

My Beloved’s MBA Plans is a vivid anthology of appealing anecdotes rest adjacent to the conditions of being on campus and desire for an MBA grade traverse in the course of chalk and cheese hues of verve and incidents in the midst of a familiar strand on the trot in the line of all of them of how much are you eager to bestow to realize your MBA reverie, by giving up a comfortable career and begin from scratch, or dwelling separately from your other half, and deracinate your relations from a fi...

Quick Review

Ordered and received the book from one other e-seller. Books force you to finish it in one go ( though I had to do it 2 parts). Now the review:

Well written book. very well chosen and execution of the strategy of mentioning the EXACT feelings shared by characters. Few stories ( like one of Geet, or Arpita) touch the reader at his heart. This is exactly what is called striking the Chord with your reader. Few story like the first one, shows you the real picture of managing things in real life....

m glad i read it ! :)

Recieved my copy yesterday and so impatient I was, that its today and I have read it already. Well, could really connect to it. Writing style is so very simple and yet so very impressive. Those short yet simple sweet stories not only motivate you to do something big out of life, but also give you a hope that with right person, things automaticaally turn out in a better way :) Hoping for more such stuff from Disha :)

A nice read..

The best part of the book is the real life story of people who believes in their dream and went all the way to achieve it. Love the way the book is revolved around many students life in B-school, their struggles, their support factors and last but the least their capability to make balance in life. The book is an inspiration to many who are yet to cover the extra miles in their career. The book is crisp and easy read that you can finish the book at one go. Thumbs up Disha !

A walk down the memory lane

Beautifully written book ... one can connect with the characters in the book... It revived all the good memories of my MBA days...me realising I was expecting my son the day I took admission!!! My husband’s support through those two years....and not to forget my batch mates who were ever ready to help me with my assignments as I tried to balance between the demands of academics and motherhood... look forward to reading Disha’s next ?

it felt like reading through the life of my own and my friends here at IIM-C...

Being the wife of an IIM-C PGPEX student, I could relate to all what was said in this book. The journey that this book takes you through is wonderful. The life of an MBA student is supposed to be difficult, but seeing the life through his/her beloved's eyes makes it a pleasant and a different experience altogether.
Each and every character of this book is so beautifully etched that you tend to relate to it in some or the other way.
It is a refreshing way of writing. Highly recommended.

Not a must read. But, do read! It's so positive.

What should I be writing about this book. This is no great stuff. But it is a thought so well conceived and penned. Through the stories, I felt like I had a tour to IIM Calcutta. Simplicity of the language also lubricated the visualisation of the emotions of the characters. And a hell lot to learn. The love, care, affection, understanding, support, unity explained in this book is so real and thought provoking. LOVED IT!!!!

Not a must read. But, do read! It's so positive.

Doesn't feel like a debut novel

It is a collection of heart-warming love stories where people had to go beyond conventions to be with their beloved, to pursue their life's dreams and ambitions. At first one feels that all of them would be more or less similar, but once you start reading it you get so engrossed in each story that you actually tempt to start the new one asap. A definite page-turner, this book reflects the author’s excellence storytelling skills and her innovative approach to present her thoughts. Another capt...

Simple yet straight from the heart!

I love this book because of the naarative style and straight from the heart approach. I have read it several times already and it is truly inspiring. The true test of love lies in accommodating each other's needs with a little bit of sacrifice. The book covers the two most crucial aspects in everybody's lives : Career and Love/Family. The stories of each of the characters have a beautiful balance of both of these aspects. Being an MBA aspirant myself, I learnt a great deal from the book, abou...
