The book helped in providing me the vivid details about the route, the places on the way and the local populace. The tips at the end of the book could serve as a ready reckoner for anyone wishing to embark upon this arduous yet mesmerizing trip. Well any Travelogue is successful if it ignites a spark in the reader to also attempt the trip. The language is simple and the descriptions quite vivid. I really hope I could go on this trip and re live the experience.

It contails all little and each detail of a yatri who can do ritual during a yatra.
It is a encyclopedia for yatri who wants to perform a yatra . It contain every detail of yatra and list of stops items and requirements of yatri.
And more important thing how yatri feel in yatri and how is his state of mind in yatra and how should he perpare for becoming a yatri.

I found the book so interesting that I finished reading it in just one day. Firstly the language is so simple and friendly. Secondly it has really triggered interest in my & my wife's mind about planning for Kailash yatra. Though we were aware of Kailash yatra, it was always with bit of fear and doubt in mind.
