Key Features
The book is a collection of a teenager’s memoirs and experiences of the first seventeen years of life. The chapters of the book which are in prose form are interspersed with self-composed poems and articles by the author. The striking features of the book are that most incidents are analyzed and presented from a psychological perspective since the author sees herself as a budding Psychologist in future and is passionate about the mysterious, yet routine occurrence of psychology in every sphere of life. It is a school girl’s journey of growing up, which many may connect with, due to the very many similarities and few variations. She also has a strong conviction that most challenges at the local, national or global level can be handled effectively if we change our mindsets and start thinking, believing, and behaving as interconnected global citizens, rather than in fragmented ways.
