    Description

Matilda is the story of a very intelligent and patient young girl, who is always misunderstood by her dimwit parents and her headmistress.

    Summary

The story is about Matilda Wormwood, a prodigy and an extraordinary child with telekinetic powers and amazing talent and intellect. She is adored by teacher, Miss Honey, and her friends at school. But she is sadly always misunderstood by her unpleasant parents who think she is a foolish girl, always playing pranks on others. The school's hostile headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, also despises Matilda and is always looking for an opportunity to punish her. Fortunately, Matilda has the inner resources to deal with such annoyances. Will she be able to deal with her demons?

No one is too old to read Roald Dahl books.

Popular as a children's author, Roald Dahl, also manages to grip the attention of the grown ups. A nice book. Interesting. I left my childhood many years ago but still, it was fun to read.
