NATURALLY PAHADI Himalayan Red Rice, are grown by the marginal farmers in their highland farms of Himalayan region. The rice are grown organically through traditional methods without the use of chemicals in heavy rainfall regions of Purola valley. These rainfed rice are partially husked keeping all three layers of grains intact, to bring you all the goodness of whole grain and are healthier than polished varieties. Red colour of this rice is due to high level of anthocyanin, an antioxidants making them highly nutritional along with being rich in essential nutrients, iron, vitamin, phosphorus and fibers. When cooked, this rice has a firm and chewy texture from outside with soft inside and a distinct nutty taste.
