The material is very thin. But it will remove the loosened fur from the babies. I found it as a very useful product not only at the time of bath but for giving them a good massage. The removal od the stucked dryhair from the gpoves is not much easy but not harder also. If the hair trapped in the gloves is wet it is really easy to remove.. But don't believe that the hair can be removed like a sheath as shown in the picture.. Overall it is good and helf
