Also, keep your tree as warm as possible, ideally always above 70 degrees. These trees don't need a lot of fertilizer, and if you already have rich soil you likely won't have to provide supplemental feeding. A slow-release balanced fertilizer can be applied in poor soil conditions, following label instructions.
