A perfect router for a home

My previous router was terrible (Edimax), if anyone in the house used torrents, then no one else in the house has no access the internet even though we had a 10mbps connection. But this one is brilliant.
I put it through a very decent stress test, and it passed with flying colours!

Pros:
1. Performs excellent when lot of connections and data transfer are involved.
2. Very tiny. Includes a vertical mount too. (The picture shown seems outdated)
3. Has a ton of features -- includes QoS (you can...

Great value for money, but configuration can have issues

I recently got this product for my relatives. I am already using a netgear product and have had no issues with it, so decided to buy this. The added advantages being,
a. less than 1000Rs,
b. very small in dimensions
c. Sufficient range and reach
Flipkart as usual made a very quick delivery, within 48 hours. I continue to be impressed by their promptness and hassle free product delivery.

I had a very tough time configuring this. The configuration requires accessing the router page via www.ro...

Great value

I needed an inexpensive wireless router. This one was the cheapest. It had only two ethernet ports compared to the normal four. However, since I was to use it for wireless network, it was not an issue at all.

It worked well with my BSNL DSL connection. I had earlier used netgear product, so setting the router up was breeze. I also noticed that the router now comes with more advanced features for parental controls and some dynamic DHCP (which i did not explore).

I registered it with the netg...

Works fine, but the setup may be a little complex in some cases (Process included here)

It works very fine. Haven't yet tested the range. If you have a modem that converts your phone line to enable internet access and your modem's IP happens to match with the WNR612's IP, then the setup gets a little complex. First connect your directly to your system (without using WNR612), go to run > cmd>
In CMD window, type "ipconfig/all" without quotes.
note down the Default Gateway address.
Now disconnect your previous modem, place it aside, and connect only the WNR612 to your system and ...

Just go for it. The 'the best' router

In a word, it's Stupendous. An amazing piece of work from Netgear. Its a N series router and this tiny little piece can do wonder. The receptivity is simply outstanding. The signal catches on every nooks and corners of a 3 BHK flat. Probably, It goes beyond that as the manual suggests which I certainly don't doubt. It looks very attractive and can also be used a show piece, gives a hi tech look to your room...LOL... Jokes apart,It has a great deal of features and one has to explore them with ...

Good Tiny Piece of Wifi router - But have configuration issues

Its a good product from netgear, very small in size and the range signal is very good. However configuring this item is a pain, if you have a local connection other than Airtel, BSNL or reliance.

I spent almost 2 hours trying to understanding the manual to configure this but failed.
The instruction leaflet is just crap. There is no help line number mentioned as well.
However Google the god helped me in finding the number, I called the toll freer and after holding for 20 minutes, my call was ...
