I have been using this router for last three weeks.

Pros:
+ Router performance is pretty good
+ Good price offered by Flipkart
+ Two USB ports - I have connected a 500GB USB 2.0 drive with external power supply and another USB 3.0 2TB drive (with multiple partitions). Both work fine.
+ USB performance is decent, fast enough for streaming HD movies from connected HDD to your streaming media player. No lag/delays when fast forwarding / rewinding movies
+ Netgear Genie mobile app and admin UI ...

I was force to switch router from n to ac mainly beacuse of unstable wan disconnections and few ac clients piled up. So time for ac. But when reviews for ac keeps confusing between wave 1 1st generation vs wave 2 second generation in that mean time quad stream 2400Mb/s routers and 3.2gbs all piled up with so much of variety of ac std with no clear picture which perform better than other. I am using Linksys EA4500 and I bought Netgear R7000 to extend the coverage in my house. I was Linksys fanboy and was hesitant in buying any other router. Pretty impressed with the performance (Streaming 1080p/BRRips/HD content is ultra smooth) and the build quality. I tried DLNA too and it works flawlessly.

Look no further if this router fits in your budget.

This is the third router I bought of the same type (earlier two are with relatives / used elsewhere:) ).

Pros:
Having two bands is useful with multiple devices - e.g. phones, laptops, tables - all connecting to wifi without slowing each other down.
Having USB drive ("readyshare") is great if you want a budget "NAS" or Network Attached Storage
Speed is pretty good

I got this product recently, so that i can utilize my 40 Mbps internet speed, and this router matches the speed provided by my ISP and the coverage range is much better compared with my old Netgear N150.
Tried the Parental control and Site block functionality, works fine but i feel that using site block functionality increased Internet page response time by 2 - 3 sec's.

Very happy with the product at present. Bought this after favorable reviews from SmallNetBuider. Had to replace an older N router as it was not able to connect many devices at the same time. This one works like a breeze. Only my Kindle and Apple devices are able to utilize the 5Ghz band at present. I do not have an AC client in other devices.
A bit bulky compared to the N routers
Throughput is amazing even in the N frequencies.

It is a good router for a small office or home office with couple of wired and wireless devices. It has two USB ports, I use one for the USB hard drive, and the other for printer. I can share printer and USB storage to all other devices on the network. So effectively I have a network printer & and NAS server, that is nice. Wi-Fi is just like other basic netgear routers.

This is an excellent product with lots of features. Though I have not used many of the features yet, I really liked the "Parental Control". You can set many levels of controls and unfortunately, this is not well highlighted in the product features. You need to use external app to control the router, which is good/bad in individuals perspective.

I was looking for a good router to cover my 3bhk(~2000sqft) but none of the routers used so far are able to give decent signal strength across rooms. Tried installing extenders as well but didnt see much improvement in speed. Another solution was to solution go for mesh networks(Orbi etc.) but they are slightly on the higher price bracket. So after thorough research and seeing many reviews, zeroed on R7000 model. And viola!! No more dead zones in my house. Now even decent speed are available...
