This is a good product with a nice form factor. My use case was to use this for sharing my internet connected via airtel 4G LTE. It performed good in both ad-hoc and infrastructure modes. Hi, my desktop was connected thru LAN cable, but wanted to get rid of the cable. Purchased this tiny little stuff and found it very helpful.

The range is not too much and deliver data at 150Gbps, which is quite great if you are not dealing with high data Xfer on Wifi.. True value for money.

I went with this dongle for the brand paying more than I could have.
I did so expecting it would work without giving me headaches.

Unfortunately, the things gives issues on Linux. It works ok for a few minutes then no data flow. Connection is shown connected but no network data.

So even after paying big for a good brand, I have to fight the usual fight of driver hunting just like with Chinese crap.

Had to run a ethernet cable across the rooms for internet access after all :-(

Works out-of-the-box with a raspberry pi. If any one is looking for a wifi dongle for your raspi, go for this.

I ordered this to stream video from raspberry pi board and it is working expected. The transfer rate is around 3 MB/s and hence more than sufficient for what I actually require. Also if anyone is looking for a wifi connector for Raspberry PI I would suggest this as compared to Edimax which is usually suggested in Raspberry.org because Netgear is cheap and working great :)

I got this for my grand dad as he had recently got wifi connection at home. I was not at home and the fact that he could install it and get the wifi running on his computer on his own gives me immense pleasure. The in-built app which helps find and connect to wifi networks is also fast and simple.
