Pros:
1. Good to average coverage. Barely covers my 2300 Sq Ft home with at least 2 walls blocking the range. (I have placed it in one corner of home and not the center)
2. Good features, USB ready share works great as advertised. Parental control option.
3. Guest network option available. We can create multiple isolated hotspots.
4. Flawless HD streaming not more than 1000 Sq Ft radius.

I just purchased Netgear WNDR3400 N600 Wireless Dual Band Router on 24th Jan, I have over looked a crucial part " Ready Share Print" capability.

unfortunately this modem doesn't support it, I would like an exchange to the other model which can support.

Works perfectly fine, in my 2000 sq feet house, I get signal everywhere from both bands and netgear genie is a great app, the ready share feature is excellent, the only reason I didn't 5 stars are because I could still expect more range from an N600 router

I got this router in exchange offer for my older Netgear N150 router. The older one didn't give me coverage for my entire (though some people's reviews said that it did cover even their large homes -_- ), it was for that reason that I got this one. Got this 3 months ago. No problems since then. 4 Wifi devices + 1 LAN device. Primarily used to share internet, stream videos & transfer data. The transfer speeds to & from the USB hard drive could have been better. And yes, it doesn't have gigabit LAN. Keep that in mind. Also the v3 doesn't support DD-WRT yet! And yeah, it gets hot.
Overall, a recommended buy for a connected home.

This is a very good and versatile router. I was a little apprehensive getting this, due to all the bad rep Netgear as well as this model has garnered for unreliability but I took the gamble and exchanged my old unused D-link ADSL modem for this.

Design: - the router is surprisingly small (since im coming from a Dlink DIR 615), which makes it able to fit in any place you can think about. it also stands vertically, which makes sense as that further reduces it's footprint.
the router has only 2 buttons, and has a plastic band wrapping. and although the whole body is plastic, it does look pretty cool.

I needed this heavy duty router for an always online home office. Packaging excellent. Shipping was on time. Has worked well so far. Will recommend Netgear product as well as this seller.

Well the 2.4gHz seems to penetrate walls little better than the 5gHz but its good that you can switch both simultaneously on and the best thing I appreciate about this product is the USB port behind the router. It has a descent transfer speed,better settings and control panel.
I currently don't have any problems with the router. I will definitely suggest everybody to buy this.
