Never Let Me Go  (English, Paperback, Ishiguro Kazuo)

Having read all but one of Kazuo Ishiguro's works, it often strikes me as strange , that while "Remains of the Day" won a Booker, "Never Let me Go" did not. It was certainly a deserving candidate, and while the former is also a uniquely written book, the latter is gut wrenching in its finality and brings out what has so aptly been described as "the fragility of life". Read this book alone , possibly over a holiday- without people and the daily grind of life tugging to deviate your attentions....

Read such intense and deeply affecting book after a very long while. Its grasping - characters, narration, narrator's thoughts, plot etc. There is a universal nostalgic feeling every reader can relate to. The language is simple making the reader to soak in every word to feel the described emotion.

This edition has the most fascinating cover. The delivery was on time. The packaging and bookmarks were excellent. All in all satisfied with the service and product.

"Never let me go" by Kazuo Ishiguro is one of the very top notch romantic books I have read in recent times. The romance in this book is altogether different than what you find in Twilight or Nicholas Sparks or other simalar authors. Its a blend of more mature type (on side of Kathy and Tommy) and of a adolsecent fantasy type (on Ruth & Tommy side).
The plot is set in scietifically advanced world where ... (won't spoil it by opening- read it yourself).
