    Description

A New Look At Modern Indian History From 1707 To The Modern Times is a book that takes its readers on a trip down the lane of Indian history and bridges it to the present condition. The book has been principally written for all aspirants of the Civil Services and various other competitive examinations that feature General Studies as a part of the syllabus. The main theme of the book revolves around the effect that the colonial rule has had on the Indian mindset since the early 18th century and the aftermath of the colonial rule. The book also indicates how the imperialistic regime has been replaced by the neo-imperialistic regime at present, and also highlights several facts to show that almost all the socio-economic problems of today can be linked to the manner of administration of the British rulers. The book also reveals the role played by today’s politicians in amplifying the problems that are affecting the citizens. Some of the other topics covered in this book are National Symbols, Nine Maps With Descriptive Notes, Who’s Who in Modern India, Literary, Artistic, and Cultural Movements, Objective Type Information, M.A. Jinnah And The Making of Pakistan, and 1-2-3 Of The Nuclear Deal.

    B. L. Grover has authored other books like Bhartiya Savtantarta Sangram Tatha Savadhanik Vikas (Hindi) and Sources on National Movement Curzon and Cong. Alka Mehta is a popular author who is known for her work, A New Look At Modern Indian History From 1707 To The Modern Times.
