To be precise it is not for you if you are looking for a short and crisp time travellers account of world history, i is a mammoth book with a very detailed discussions of events. While the book seldom misses any event of historical importance, my opinion is that some of the events are really explained with a western perspective ant that looks biased. The main author of this book Late Prof. J Roberts is an academician who believed that world means 'western world' (read Europe) and any action/event in eastern world is just a reaction to something in the western world.
