Best Android phone in its class at this price

Pure google experience. ART android runtime for a preview of the future. Butter smooth animations, touchscreen. The black model has a beautiful rubberised back that is both scuff resistant and secure. The phone is light and easy to use.I heartily recommend it to everyone.

The best phone I have used in quite some time

Before I write the review, I want the users to know of the phones that I have used in the last 5 years so that they will know the comparisons I have made.

2009 - Nokia E65
2010 - iPhone 3G/ iPhone 3GS
2011 - 2012 (till October 2012) - Samsung Galaxy S2/ Blackberry Bold 9780
2012 - till Date - iPhone 4S (mainly for office mail)
2013 May - 2013 December - Samsung Galaxy S3
Jan 2014 - Nexus 5 (personal phone)

As you all can see, I have used almost all the big banner phones (barring the windows...

The Legend of Smart phones.

This is a real legend of all smart phones. Dont even think of regretting. Just go for it.
The features given at this price range is simply amazing.
Feels like paper when held in your hand.
The screen, NO words. feels like touching liquid. the pixel density is just awesome.
No screen guard needed as it has Gorila glass 3.
The black one has a rubbery texture in back, which given super grip in hand.
The battery is not bad either. when mobile data and wifi is turned off, can expect 48 hours ...

Nexus 5

Only thing which I could say is Amazing phone with great Specs !!!

I could not find any flaws apart from 2 which I would like to highlight.

1. Battery : This is one thing which is bringing this phone down. You need to really keep a check on it throughout day to keep a tab on it. For a controlled user, it may give you a whole day of power.
2. Camera : Camera is something which i felt is not up to the mark.. Though I have also read that it would be fine after software updation.

Ignore the a...

Best phone right now

Out of the flagships as of writing this review - the S4, One, G2, Z1 and the Nexus, this is the best.
It costs around 3k lesser than the S4 and Z1.
The screen is brilliant and on par with the HTC One.
The model currently being sold are revised to have better speaker holes.
Battery life is sufficient for a day of very heavy usage and two days of light usage.
It will always have good community support and rooting it does not void its warranty.
The camera is highly underrated and most of the iss...

Wonderful butter smooth simple and great phone with a not so good battery.

Already spoken about everything in the title...using a nexus 5 32 gb white phone for past couple of days....phone function is butter smooth and weight is so good that my hands feel happy when they work on it...i'm using a protection flip cover on it like on all my other phones and really like the built of it as still others might be complaining about.
Without using extra vocabulary i'd like to say that i highly recommend this phone over any current phones...tried xperia z and note 3...liked ...

Nexus 5 Preview

Great phone at a very good price. Worthy of being called a true flagship, since it includes all high end specs and a full HD screen.
Two major concerns however, are, the battery life because of the not so big 2300 mah battery and the Camera which is not at par with the other 8 mp cameras (Reviewers say google will fix it in a software update) Can't complain much because of the price tag.
Other than that, its a great buy! And people stop bitching about the high price, its only asking for 2k m...

Google Nexus 5, Excellent Phone

OK.. So I am using Google Nexus 5 (Black, With 32 GB) for about a month and I am very much impressed with the phone. As we all know, that it has the latest android version available in the market right now but apart from that it has some pros and cons discussed below:
Pros:
1. Undoubtedly, it has the latest android 4.4.2 Kitkat version.
2. It has a 5 LARGE inch display with a LIGHT weight of 130 gm. It barely feels in the hand.
3. Before buying this phone I have seen alot of videos on youtub...

Think before you buy from anywhere except authorized resellers

Though I have not purchased this phone from Flipkart (got it from the US) - thought I should share the info. I was much excited to get this phone and it looks and feels really good (though not premium) in your hands. Inspite of the the 5in screen - I could use it in a one hand operation. I found the WiFi speed amazingly fast (not sure why) as compared to my iPhone 4 (maybe its getting older).

However the joy lasted only for a day and within a day the phone lost its network connection. I trie...

Its Google. Enough said.

Its too bad that most of our population does not even know about the Nexus series. Middle-class ignorants think Samsung is the best. Upper-class ignorants think that Apple is the best. Sure Nexus phones aren't the cheapest or look the most premium, but when it comes to performance, NOTHING even comes close to them. And they have very reasonable price since Google does not intend to earn much profit from them. And they are easily and infinitely customizable. Nexus 5 is definitely the best smar...
