Definitely the best Travel lens at this price range. The pictures are sharp. It is not best suited for low light photography, But overall a very good lens

I bought this lens for normal photography like light potraits, a bit of landscape , street shoots and adventure. Its an excellent lens by Nikon and with my D7100 Nikon Body the results are crisp & sharp. There is no Distortion at the edges both at the 18mm or 200mm range. The VR-II substantiates in providing great results without shake.

even though the Fstop is not that great as this lense it produces fantastic images.

The lens - performance is superb, it's a all purpose lens and good result with my D7000. VR function is excellent. No vignette. Fast response to auto focus. Highly recommend.

The delivery part i was happy. I did not find it sharp at focal greater than ~150.

I eventually sold it for a jaw dropping discount price of 30K...yes I am sad i bought this. Buy this only if your very naive to SLR and you are baby stepping into the world of photography where you are trying to find you area of interest and want to try out all forms of photography to making up your mind.

i love this lens too much bcoz i want min to max zoom which i need so here i get 18-200 mm that's enough for little bit telephotography. i m totally satisfied. but its too much weighty.

In this price range and at this cost, this lens is best. After searching and reading so many reviews on nikkor lenses for my D5200, this was the best option. Go for it without a thought!
