Description

Coolpix L24 is the latest compact digital camera in the lifestyle series of Nikon. Coolpix L24 is a 14 megapixel camera and has a CCD sensor with 6.18 x 4.55 mm dimension. It has aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9. The camera also has Electronic Vibration Reduction feature, which helps in countering camera shake. Body
Nikon L24 weighs 182g and has dimension of 96.7 x 60.5 x 28.3 mm. It has a 3-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 230,000 dot pixels. This Nikon camera has internal memory of 17 MB and additional external memory can be added using SD memory card (also SDHC/SDXC compliant). The camera kit consists of two LR6/L40 (AA-size) alkaline batteries, which are capable of taking 220 shots. The Coolpix L24 also supports EN-MH2 and lithium batteries, which can click up to 450 and 700 shots, respectively. Performance
The Coolpix L24 has optical zoom of 3.6x and digital zoom of 4x. The camera has Contrast detection Auto Focus with the range of 30 cm in Normal mode and 5 cm in Macro mode. This Nikon camera has Auto sensitivity feature, which ranges from ISO 80 - 1600. The shutter speed of the camera ranges from 1/2000 to 1 sec (4 sec in Fireworks Mode). The Nikon Coolpix has scene modes such as Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Night portrait, Party/indoor, Beach/Snow, Sunset, Dusk/dawn, Night landscape, Close-up, Food, Museum, Fireworks show, Copy, Backlight, and Panorama assist. The Face recognition feature in this camera detects up to 12 faces. The self-timer feature can be setup for 10 seconds duration. Coolpix L24 features shooting at 0.7 fps up to 3 shots in continuous mode. It also has BSS (Best Shot Selector) and Multi-shot 16 (16 frames with a single burst) capture modes. Coolpix L24 can record video at a resolution of 640 x 480 at 30fps. The camera supports AVI movie format and Compressed JPEG (EXIF) image format. In terms of connectivity, the Nikon Coolpix L24 can connect to computer using USB 2.0.

Amazing quality & value for your cash.

The picture quality is extremely good. Nice value for money, quite handy too. Zoom works wonderful.My experience about it is really awesome. Even the battery life for this camera is nice.
I would surely recommend to all the users who are looking for a 14MP camera in 5-6K range, when compared to Sony or Canon.

A GREAT Deal

A very beautiful camera. The red color of the camera is very attractive. It takes very clean shots. The display is quite larger than others, very fast processing feature. The great things are the freebie gifts we are getting with this product. We are getting four batteries(two rechargeable with a charger, and two non rechargeable), the D'signer Pen is very nice although the watch is not attractive. One more thing is that its speaker is not good. We don't get a good sound while we are playing ...

Nice camera with free gifts !!!

This is first time that I purchase goods other than books from Flipkart. The camera is good . Got Deepavali free gifts like designer watch & free memory card. The pictures are good & camera is worth the money paid . Slightly thicker than new generation cameras.I shall give 8 marks out of 10 for this camera.

value for price

i got this camera from flipkart and got it on the third day.i had good expirience with this.some pros and cons are:

pros:
1.it has a good resolution
2.it has an efficient flash
3.it has a great screen
4.it is easy to use
5.it is the best camera in this range

cons:
1.it is quite bulky as compared to cameras of these days
2.the battery backup it not so efficient
3.it has optical zoom of 3.6X only but it goes to 10X digitally but it affects quality

overall it is the best camera if you dont...

very beautiful camera.Nice value for money, quite handy too.It is very easy to use.The pictures are good & camera is worth the money paid .Comming to recording,recording feature has no pause option. One can record only in a single shot without pausing. The D'signer watch is attractive.

Good Camera but..??

It is a good camera..nice picture quality. No doubt I am enjoying with this camera...but recording feature has no pause option. One can record only in a single shot without pausing. If you stop or pause the recording, then it complete one file and can not continue again with recording. Not good for recording purpose but Amazing for picture quality.
