It is the best entry level DSLR. The pictures that i hv taken with this cam are pretty neat (I am not a pro). Settings also simple.

If you are moving on from point and shoot to DSLR and dont have future plans of moving into professional photography , then it should be your choice.

Perfect for personal use like family functions , parties and your tour photography.

Got a good deal on a 70-300 lens along with this cam in Flipkart....was worth it ..!

I was, like many others was confused between Nikon d3100 and Canon 1100d
Though Canon was coming with Extra 55-250 lens in same price I chose This one and not regretting at all.

This is really nice for Beginners like me. I learned all the function in Day 1 and started shooting in Manual mode. Getting some really nice shots lately.
