Pros:
1.Photo quality is good.
2.Camera looks sturdy.
3.Display panel can be adjusted to take photo/video record from different angles.

Cons:
1.Its display is not embedded so there is always a danger that is may break.You have to be careful to keep it away from kids.
2.It's heavy so you may be reluctant to use it during trekking etc.

Conclusion : Satisfied with the product though I haven't used it's other competitors.

I HAVE PURCHASE IT FROM FLIPKART IN OCT 2014 .I AM USING IT FROM 4 MONTHS BEST PICTURE QUALITY AND BEST VIDEO ,EASY TO HANDLE.

I have searched, thought and waited a lot before buys this. i have brought 18 -140 lens along with this camera body n am happy with the purchase.

Product is definitely good as its a Nikon product but when I received the same warranty card was not stamped so now for me its an issue.

Packaging done by flipkart dealer was poor and box had almost broken not very happy to receive in that condition.

Nothing to take away from product but not stamping warranty and poor packaging takes away star.

I have purchased this product during the big billion day and no competition for this camera on that day...The price is so competitive, flipkart delivered in the second day itself.
The product came with a Nikon DVD Tutorial (you can get to know about SLR and its photography skills)
and I am still learning the skills as i am new to SLR...
Will write more once i get to know the things.
i will give 5 star to flipkart and the product.

Many would say Canon is User-friendly (due to many automatic settings) and so not to go with Nikon... I to agree but User-Friendliness is not always helpful... 2 fulfill a wide range of Imaginations, U need manual settings to workout with, U need Nikon 4 it ;)

a gud entry level dslr... price worthy.. and user friendly interface. Kit lens works great for general photography.
